(Arden Hills, MN) -- Bethel University is cutting programs to address declining enrollment.

The university announced Tuesday it is eliminating nine majors and minors and is focusing on expanding four other degree programs.

Officials say four education programs, the reconciliation major, the theater minor, and the bachelor's in organizational leadership are all being eliminated.

Also on the cut list are master's degrees in strategic and transformational leadership.

The university says it will expand its engineering, art therapy, medical science, and physician's assistant programs.
