(Moorhead, MN) -- A Minnesota State Senate Candidate is sharing his goals for his election bid to represent District 4 this November.
Dan Bohmer is running to become District 4's Representative in the Minnesota State Senate. He joined WDAY Midday to speak about his prior experiences on Moorhead's City Council, how he would improve the state's economy, and improving educational standards for state residents.
"Most people are concerned about the economy. In this area, we are concerned about the competitive business climate in Minnesota versus North Dakota," said Bohmer, "Our small businesses are chocked out by burdensome regulations and mandates."
Bohmer says he is looking to support law enforcement, amid what he calls an "outcry of vilifying all police officers". He says the state needs support officers any way they can to encourage more people to enter and stay in the profession.
Bohmer is running to become a District 4 Representative in the Minnesota State Senate in the upcoming General Election. You can learn more about voting in Minnesota by clicking here.
