(Bismarck, ND) -- The Greater North Dakota Chamber is expressing its opposition to a proposed term limit ballot measure.

Chamber officials say voters should get to decide how long someone serves in state government.

Measure One would change the state constitution to limit the governor to two, four-year terms in office. State legislators would be limited to eight years in House and eight years in the Senate.

The measure wouldn't apply to congressional races.
