Lidgerwood Retirement Center to remain open through April

(Lidgerwood, ND) -- The Lidgerwood retirement center will be remaining open, for now.

Dakota Estates was set to close by the end of the year, but board members voted unanimously to keep it open through April 1st.

Reports have surfaced that someone may be willing to buy the facility, though that has not been confirmed.

Board members say there isn't enough evidence to back claims of misappropriation of funds by the facility's former administrator.
