Three injured in plane mishap east of Regent

(Hettinger County, ND) -- Three people have minor injuries after a single-propeller airplane made "hard landing" in a field east of Regent.

The incident happened late Saturday afternoon and downed power lines across the Enchanted Highway, causing a power outage.

The three people onboard were taken to the hospital with unspecified minor injuries.

Authorities haven't released further information. An investigation is underway.
