VELVA, ND - Two people died in a head-on crash on Hwy 52 north of Velva around 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The State Patrol says a 32-year old Minot man was driving an SUV that crossed the centerline and hit a car driven by a 41-year old Velva man. Both drivers were killed in the crash. Their names have not been released.
Roads were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.
