(Minneapolis, MN) -- Airlines at Minneapolis St. Paul International and other airports are continuing to issue weather waivers.

A severe storm is expected to hit Tuesday evening and last through Thursday afternoon.

As a result, Delta, Southwest, Sun Country, and United are waiving change fees and allowing passengers to rebook flights.

Free parking is also being made available in Minneapolis as a severe storm approaches. Parking is already restricted to one side of residential roads in Minneapolis because of previous snow and ice accumulation.

St. Paul is not currently offering free parking, but is advising residents who rely on street parking to prepare for snow emergencies.

The heaviest snow is expected to fall between Wednesday night and Thursday.
