(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota lawmakers are getting a pay raise.
The Minnesota Legislative Salary Council voted to bump the legislative salary from 48-thousand dollars to nearly 52-thousand dollars.
There are a total of 201 members of the State House and Senate in Minnesota.
The raises will officially take effect July 1st.
