(St. Paul, MN) -- Minnesota lawmakers are considering additional funding for school safety.

A bill introduced earlier this month would create a 100-million dollar fund for districts to dip into for physical building improvements.

Districts applying to use the fund would need a facilities plan that shows what physical changes would be made.

School districts could get up to 300-thousand dollars for modifications.
