(Grand Forks, ND) -- The Grand Forks Police Department is investigating an apparent shooting at an apartment in the city Saturday evening.
The Department tells WDAY Radio that officers responded to the 1110 Stanford Road around 8:57 p.m. to reports of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a male victim in the first floor hallway of the building with a gunshot wound.
After being treated on scene and then transferred to Altru Health, the man died from his injuries.
GFPD says the incident appears to be isolated, and that the community is not in any danger. As of early Sunday morning, no arrests have been made, and the incident remains under investigation.
