North Dakota gas producer among three companies to settle with the EPA over Clean Air Act violations

(Fargo, ND) -- The Environmental Protection Agency has announced Clean Air Act settlements with three natural gas producers, including one with operations in North Dakota.

The companies operate 25 gas processing plants and 91 compressor stations across 12 states and 2 tribal communities.

The company operating in North Dakota is MPLX LP.

According to the EPA, the gas producer failed to comply with several emissions requirements.
