(Maplewood, MN) -- 3-M is eliminating 600 Minnesota jobs as part of a reorganization.

The Maplewood-based corporation announced the reorganization yesterday, which will cut six-thousand jobs company wide.

The company says the new cuts are in addition to the elimination of about 25-hundred manufacturing jobs in January.

The combined cuts reduce the company's workforce by about ten-percent.
