Hot topics to be decided as Minnesota legislative session enters final week

(Fargo ND) -- The Minnesota Legislature is entering the last week of its session.  

There are several hot topics on the agenda.  

A public safety bill that includes background checks for gun show sales will be up for a vote today in the state Senate.  

Democrats still are looking to reach final deals on taxes, paid family and medical leave, and marijuana legalization.

The legislative deadline for the end of the session is May 22.
