Gag order issued in Anita Knutson murder case following discovery of Facebook survey

(Bismarck, ND) -- North Dakota courts are being asked by state prosecutors to put a gag order on the attorney representing Nichole Rice, Anita Knutson's accused killer.

The request comes after prosecutors were made aware of a Facebook survey asking people if they believe Nichole Rice is guilty. It was determined that the survey was launched by Rice's attorney, prompting prosecutors to ask for a gag order barring any similar surveys.

A ruling on the motion has not yet been reached.
