(Valley City, ND) -- Two bike riders are injured and another man is in custody following a crash just after noon on Tuesday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a group of 15 people affiliated with a Texas 4000, a non-profit, were riding their bicycles along 33rd Street South East when a truck attempted to pass the bikers and struck both Felicity Hung and Neeraj Akula from behind. Authorities say the truck's driver, Peter Schuck from Sandborn , then left the scene. Both Hang and Akula were transported to Mercy Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and Schuck was cited due to leaving the scene of an injury crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
