South Dakota scores nation's second highest GDP growth rate

(Pierre, SD) -- South Dakota's economy continues to thrive, according to new data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.  

The state's Gross Domestic Product grew by eleven-percent year-over-year.  

That's the second largest GDP growth in the U.S. and nearly double the national average.  

Governor Noem said, "When people have the freedom to exercise personal responsibility, they will choose what's best for their families."  

She also mentioned, "South Dakota's economic success isn't slowing down."
