New group will advise Governor Walz on rideshare drivers' wages

(St. Paul, MN)  --  Minnesota Governor Tim Walz's administration has put together a group of rideshare drivers to advise him on how to address wage and safety concerns.

Policy recommendations are due to the governor by January 1st. Walz vetoed legislation last May that would have boosted pay for Uber and Lyft drivers.

This happened shortly after Uber announced plans to pull out of all Minnesota markets except premium-priced services in the metro area if the bill was signed into law.
