(Minneapolis, MN) — A former Minnesota political donor is scheduled to be sentenced today on sex trafficking charges.
Anton Tony Lazzaro was convicted by a federal jury in April of one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor.
Prosecutors are seeking a 30-year sentence for the defendant.
Meanwhile, Lazzaro’s lawyers filed yesterday to have a new trial claiming a juror and prosecutorial misconduct.
