41 people from 20 countries to become American citizens in Friday Naturalization Ceremony

(Grand Forks, ND) -- The U.S. District Court for North Dakota is welcoming 41 new citizens in a naturalizations ceremony at UND on Friday. 

The naturalization ceremony, which is welcoming citizenship candidates from 20 countries to become U.S. citizens, is taking place at the Gorecki Alumni Center at the University of North Dakota. 3501 University Drive, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, at 10 a.m. on Friday. A U.S. Magistrate Judge will administer the oath, with several other officials expected to give remarks. 

People from 20 countries; Bhutan, Cameroon, Canada, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Mexico, Nepal, Philippines, Rwanda, Somalia, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vietnam, are expected to become U.S. citizens in the ceremony.
