(Fargo, ND) -- North Dakota  and Minnesota drivers are seeing a slight dip in gas prices across their states.

AAA says the average price per gallon of gas in North Dakota is approximately nine cents lower than a week ago, to a total of $3.91 cents per gallon. However, this is in contrast to a 16 cent increase compared to a month ago. Gas prices in Minnesota also have dipped nine cents compared to a week ago, to a total of $3.87, but have increased about 17 cents compared to a month ago.

Some experts attribute a Midwest refinery temporarily shutting down due to maintenance as a reason for the increases. You can learn more about gas prices across the United States by clicking here
