Search for missing school dog ends in good news

(Edinburg, ND) -- The search for Mac, the school dog at the Valley-Edinburg Public School District, is over after a happy ending.

"He was locked in a neighbor's garage," Superintendent Kierstin Hurtt told WDAY Radio. "The homeowner was gone for several days, and came home to find Mac locked in the garage."

"Thank you to everyone who helped bring him home," Hurtt said on social media. A social media post regarding Mac, posted on the Valley-Edinburg Public School District's Facebook page, was shared more than 2,000 times.
