Drought easing across North Dakota

(Bismarck, ND)  —  Drought conditions are easing in most of the affected areas of the state.  

The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor indicates severe drought remains across the northern counties accounting for 17-percent of North Dakota.  

Just over nine-percent of the counties are experiencing moderate drought and over 18-percent of the state is dealing with abnormally dry conditions.
