Questions continue around travels of former North Dakota State Senator Ray Holmberg

(Bismarck, ND)  --  There are new questions being asked about how a former state senator accused of traveling to Europe to have sex with a minor paid for his multiple trips.

Raymond Holmberg was indicted in federal court on Tuesday for repeatedly traveling from North Dakota to the Czech Republic to allegedly engage in commercial sex acts --also known as Child Sex Tourism -- with a person under the age of 18.

The Forum says documents from the North Dakota School Board indicate Holmberg made at least one trip through the Global Bridges program which receives state funds.

He has entered a not guilty plea.
