(Beulah, ND) -- North Dakota Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer have announced a big grant for the design and construction of a facility in Mercer County that will source and process nickel ore.
Talon Metals has received 115-million-dollars from the U.S. Department of Energy to process ore from its mine in central Minnesota and elsewhere in North America.
Nickel concentrate produced by the facility will be used for electric vehicle batteries.
