(Forest Township) -- A Minneapolis man is hospitalized after an accidental gunshot wound to the leg while hunting.

The Becker County Sheriff's Office says 40-year-old Jeremy Sailor was shot after his hunting partner was clearing the rifle and it accidentally discharged. Sailor was taken by private vehicle away from the area, but the vehicle then broke down shortly afterwards. Authorities say Sailor was then placed into their care and was taken to Sanford Hospital in Bemidji for non-life threatening injuries.

Becker County deputies say the shooting appears to be accidental, and is no longer under investigation.
