Waubun Public Schools closure continues for some students following mechanical room fire

(Waubun, MN) -- Waubun Public Schools is updating parents after a mechanical fire stopped school for some grades Monday.

A district official says classes will remain canceled for Tuesday for Pre-K through 3rd grade students, and will remain open for grades 4-12. Student/Teacher conferences that were scheduled to take place this week will be held at the Waubun campus in the Main Gymnasium for impacted students.

Additional updates are expected to come as restoration efforts continue.
