(Forman, ND) -- A man charged in the kidnapping of a Forman, North Dakota woman has pleaded not guilty.

Police say 47-year-old Ryan Bergh abducted bartender Melissa Wolter at gunpoint from Deuces Bar in October. Wolter told police she was driven to an empty field where Bergh threatened to rape her, but ended up releasing her hours later outside the home of the Sergeant County Sheriff. Bergh was arrested soon afterwards.

Bergh told the judge he wants to represent himself in a trial scheduled for March. He remains in jail on a $100,000 bond. You can find more information on the kidnapping by clicking here
