(Bismarck, ND) — The celebration of Hanukkah is underway in Bismarck with the lighting of the menorah at the State Capitol.
A Bismarck resident and veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces lit the menorah last night.
The eight-day Festival of Lights is a time when Jews are dedicated to spreading the light to defeat darkness.
Hanukkah ends December 15th.
