UPDATE: Shelter-in-place lifted at UND

10am update: The University of North Dakota says, in a social media post, that the all clear has been given. According to the University, the suspect has been arrested and is in custody.

The Flag/WDAY Radio News has reached out to Grand Forks Police for more information about the situation.

Original Story: (Grand Forks, ND) --  The University of North Dakota is under a shelter in place order as officials are searching for a person of interest involved in a vehicle pursuit.

The University says the individual, described as a white male wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans, was traveling westbound from Abbott Hall, at 151 Cornell Street. The suspect is being tracked with a police canine unit.

Those who witness suspicious activity should call 9-1-1.
