(Clay County, MN) -- Authorities are on the scene of several spinouts and incidents on Minnesota roadways as poor road conditions are causing accidents this morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says multiple crashes are reported along I-94 due to slippery conditions. Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says several crashes and jack-knifed semis are in the areas between Barnesville and Rothsay.

The roads are slick with ice produced by a freezing mist that has coated surfaces across eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Authorities are urging caution for morning commuters.
