(Undated) -- International hockey is coming to the Twin Cities.
The International Ice Hockey Federation announced today in Sweden that the 2026 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship will be played at Xcel Energy Center and 3M Arena at Mariucci.
The tournament features elite players from all over the globe, including several college stars.
The last time Minnesota hosted the World Junior Hockey Championship was in 1982.
