Bismarck police searching for high-risk sex offender accused of removing location monitoring bracelet

(Bismarck, ND) -- Law enforcement is still searching for a high-risk sex offender who removed a GPS monitoring bracelet in Bismarck.

The man they're looking for is Calvin Payne, and his monitoring bracelet was found Thursday morning off East Rosser Avenue. Payne had been under supervision for failure to register as a sex offender, drug possession, and possession of narcotic equipment.Payne pleaded guilty to luring minors by computer in 2014. Payne is 6-foot-1-inches tall, weighs 155 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes with visible tattoos on his nose and neck.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Bismarck Police Department.
