(Fargo, ND) -- Authorities have released the name of the man shot and killed by officers in northwestern Minnesota's Polk County Tuesday.
He was 42-year old Lucas Paul Gilbertson of rural East Grand Forks.
The shooting happened while law enforcement officers were executing an arrest warrant at a home.
Gilbertson was taken to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks where he died.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating what led up to the shooting.
