(Mille Lacs, MN) -- A man is dead after his truck fell through the ice on Mille Lacs Lake.
Authorities say 80-year-old Richard Francis Gadbois of Isle drove onto the lake Friday morning, where the ice measures around six-inches thick. A bystander saw him in the water and pulled him out, but Gadbois later died at an area hospital.
Officials are stressing that conditions on the lake are not safe for vehicle traffic.
