(St. Paul, MN) -- Abortion opponents say they will fight laws granting greater access to the procedure in Minnesota.

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the State Capitol in St. Paul yesterday for an annual rally sponsored by Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life. The protesters carried plastic dolls representing unborn babies, saying over 12,000 babies were aborted in Minnesota in 2022. DFL lawmakers have proposed a state constitutional amendment to guarantee access to abortion in Minnesota.

Abortion opponents said yesterday that they plan to force candidates to address the issue during this year's elections.
