(Minneapolis, MN) -- Minneapolis is selected to host the 2029 International Rotary Convention.
Governor Tim Walz, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and other leaders made the announcement yesterday at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
The Rotary Convention brings together tens of thousands of people to focus on helping advance personal, business and community well-being and advancing international peace and understanding.
The event is expected to generate 50 million dollars in revenue for the Minneapolis economy.
