North Dakota Civil Air Patrol seeking citizen volunteers

(Fargo, ND) — The Civil Air Patrol is looking for citizen volunteers.

“What we do as volunteers, we respond to that call whether it’s through the air and doing some aerial recconaissiance or trying to get some imagery to our local agencies on the ground,” said Lieutenant Colonel Troy Krabbenhoft, the North Dakota Wing Vice Commander for the Civil Air Patrol.

Krabbenhoft said volunteers with the agency can serve in a variety of roles, including helping in searches for downed planes and missing people.

Volunteers don’t have to be pilots and military experience is not required.
