Hawley Public Schools closes after intense Grain Elevator Fire drains city's water supply

(Hawley, MN) -- School is canceled for Hawley today after a gain elevator fire.

Hawley Police Chief Joseph Backlund says school will be canceled to preserve water supply for the city. This happened after an intense grain elevator fire occurred overnight in the city requiring 17 total agencies to take down the blaze.
