(Bismarck, ND) -- It is World Kidney Day and a perfect time to pay attention to this vital organ that is a human filter.
The health of the kidneys depend on many factors including diet and hydration and keeping blood pressure stable.
The American Kidney Fund says more than 13-hundred North Dakotans are living with end-stage kidney failure.
About 150 are on the transplant list.
