Grand Forks man held on half-million dollar bond

(Grand Forks, ND) -- A Grand Forks man accused of shooting at law enforcement is being held on a million-dollar bond.

Authorities say the shooting happened as officers were attempting to serve a search warrant at a home last Friday. They say Jeffrey Simpson Jr. exited a vehicle and opened fire at them. None of the officers were hit.

Simpson faces four counts of attempted murder with a firearm.
