Pembina County Memorial Hospital to notify those impacted by data breach

(WDAY Radio) -- Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier is releasing information about a data breach that occurred last year.

The hospital says an unauthorized party accessed their internal network, though all systems and networks are now secure. Personal information of employees and the protected health information of patients were impacted by the breach. The company will notify patients and staff who were impacted by the breach.

Data that could be implicated in the breach includes first and last names and various personal and medical information. Patients and employees are being asked to review their financial statements for any fraudulent activity.
