(Grand Forks, ND) -- Grand Forks firefighters responded to an apartment fire Friday, encountering heavy smoke from one unit.
The firefighters quickly extinguished the fire located at 1426 10th Avenue North before it could spread to other units. Fortunately, no one was hurt. No other residents besides the affected unit were dispaced according to officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
