(St. Paul, MN) -- A Delta Airlines flight landed safely at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport on Saturday after reporting a crack in an exterior windshield.

The airline said the crew of Flight 1736 from Denver to Minneapolis descended to a lower altitude as a precaution after the crack was found.  The plane landed safely about 13 minutes ahead of schedule.

No injuries were reported.
