(Hennepin County, MN) -- A deputy who was shot and wounded in Minnetonka yesterday is reportedly out of surgery and recovery.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office says two deputies were wounded during a search for a suspect wanted on a felony warrant. The 28-year-old suspect reportedly shot at the deputies and they returned fire. The suspect died and one deputy was seriously injured by a gunshot. The other deputy was injured but was not struck by gunfire.
The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating.
