Jamestown woman seriously injured after vehicle overturns

(Jamestown, ND) -- A Jamestown woman is seriously injured following a late-night crash on Saturday.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the crash happened 10 miles southwest of Jamestown on County Road 38. They say the driver, Keira Weber (18f, Jamestown), was traveling eastbound when she lost control of the vehicle and entered the south ditch. The vehicle came to rest overturned. The Highway Patrol says Weber was not ejected from the vehicle, but was not wearing a seat belt. She was transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center, then to Sanford Hospital due to her serious injuries.

Weber was charged with DUI and cited for having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
