(St. Paul, MN) — Conservation and natural resource projects in Minnesota will receive a funding boost from a bill signed by Governor Walz yesterday.
The bill allocates $79 million from the state’s environment and natural resources trust fund to various projects statewide. This includes just over a million dollars for initiatives aiding communities affected by water contamination from PFAS chemicals. Additionally, two million dollars will support projects aimed at replacing septic systems for low-income property owners.
