(St. Paul, MN)  --Avian flu has been found in a commercial turkey flock in Central Minnesota.

The USDA's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service says the highly contagious and often deadly infection was confirmed in the flock of 70,000 turkeys in Meeker County.

It's the first avian flu outbreak detected in a Minnesota commercial poultry flock this year.
