Burlington barn fire spreads and burns 100 vehicles

(Burlington, ND) -- A fire near Burlington northwest of Minot caused extensive damage to a rural property yesterday afternoon.

Starting as a barn fire, it quickly spread to nearby garages and numerous cars, with up to 100 vehicles engulfed in flames. Firefighters from nine different departments responded to the scene, but battling the fire was challenging due to strong winds.

As of last night, some vehicles were still burning. No injuries have been reported.
