Clearbrook plane crash leaves one with serious injuries

(Clearbrook, MN) -- A pilot is recovering after a small plane crash in northwestern Minnesota.

Investigators say the single-engine plane crashed early yesterday in Clearbrook, in Clearwater County. The plane may have experienced mechanical failure before the crash. Weather conditions may have also been a factor.

The pilot was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo for treatment. The FAA is investigating the crash.
