(Mankato, MN) -- An October event that attracted thousands of bicycle riders in Mankato, Minnesota, has been canceled due to a contract dispute.
The Mankato River Ramble has been held annually since 2011. Founder Richard Arey owns the name. He walked away from talks about this year's event when the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota wanted to involve a lawyer in contract negotiations.
